Standard Cellular Polycarbonate Panels are polycarbonate sheets with honeycomb structures that provide the product with insulation and resistance. All polycarbonate sheets are protected from ultraviolet rays by co-extrusion of U.V. absorbers on the outer face.

The fastening system must allow the free expansion of the sheet, therefore rigid fastenings or fastenings with through bolts are not recommended. Always provide sufficient clearance between the bore and the screw.
Whenever possible, ribs should be provided in the direction of the maximum slope of the sheet to ensure minimum dust accumulation in the cavities.
The sheets require a longitudinal and/or transversal support structure that can be of any nature or geometry. In the modulation, the maximum dimensions of the sheet must be respected according to the thickness of the loads to be supported, making them compatible with an adequate cutting.
The sheets are protected by a film on both sides indicating which side is protected from solar radiation.
When it is necessary to seal the joints, the compatibility of the polycarbonate with the sealant must be ensured (neutral silicone is recommended).
It is essential to cover the cells to prevent dust from entering the interior of the sheet. Aluminum tape is recommended at the ends: smooth at the top and porous, allowing condensation water to drain out at the bottom.
If it is necessary to perforate the sheet, fastening buttons should be used.
